With this salad you have the freedom to get creative with adding other veggies and leafy greens. Just keep the veggies I've listed below as your base along with the dressing and get creative from there. In terms of quantity prepare as you wish!
DETOX SALAD BASE
For your salad you can use the following ingredients only or add to it - such as throwing in a handful of kale or arugula. I also like to add tomato and peppers!
Shredded Cabbage: loaded with vitamin C and sulphur, which help to remove free radicals and uric acid from the body.
Raw carrots: to help balance your hormones by binding to and removing excess estrogen from the body, while also helping to remove bad bacteria from the gut.
Fresh parsley: a powerful herb loaded with chlorophyll, antioxidants, and healing compounds that are thought to help increase urine flow and remove any harmful bacteria from the urinary tract.
Combine the following ingredients for your dressing:
1 large avocado ripened - avocados contains healthy fats which may protect the liver and help with better absorption of fat-soluble nutrients in the body.
Juice of 1 lemon squeezed - to balance the pH of the body, detoxify the liver, promote skin repair boost the immune system, and strengthen the digestive system.
1 small clove fresh garlic (if you aren't a garlic lover, this can be optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: you can add a drizzle of raw honey
