Pineapple Skin Tea
Next time you buy a pineapple, don’t get rid of the skin! Try this delicious tea (you can drink hot or as iced tea) that’s going to help you reduce bloat, water retention, inflammation and even help to boost digestion. Here’s how you make it.
Wash pineapple and cut skin.
Place skin with 2-3 sticks of cinnamon in a pot. If you love the spiciness of ginger you can also add a thumb size piece for additional digestive and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Add enough water to cover.
Bring to a boil and then on medium heat, let simmer for up to 30 minutes. Let sit and infuse for another 30 minutes.
Serve hot or over ice - whatever you prefer!
